In 1997, I made the decision to escape the brutal chill of Saskatoon and move to the land of chinooks... Calgary. After having a few of life's twists and turns thrown at me I found myself in the art world, and more specifically, photography.
A need for perfection, but a want for effortless style can often create chaos. I use this to create well executed, emotional imagery that steals creative mini moments from the lives of others.
I'm a born and raised Alberta boy who specializes in portraying the intense action of everyday sports. From Minor League hockey to World class snowboarding, I can shoot it all.
Having a degree in Physical Education/ Kinesiology I can see the most minor details of each sport. Understanding the smallest actions of each athlete results in perfectly timed images of prime action.
